The eerie vastness of Iceland
Photo and Story by Lauren Wong
Over this past summer, I spent a month in Iceland with a group of people from all over the world; Jordan, Mexico, Texas, etc. I spent my month there taking a course on photography and left with a portfolio. These are a few of my favorites I walked away with.
Whether it be just a vacant landscape, or one with people or birds in it, these photos really put into perspective just how we compare to this world we live in. It is amazing how big of an impact we have on this planet when in reality we are so small. I believe that this can be taken as either a blessing or a curse depending on how the viewer looks at it, and I leave that up to you.
