Spartans Capture Back-to-Back National Championships

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - For the ninth time in the night, Jonathan Holt knelt down behind the mound and said his ritualistic prayer. In only his second start of the year, Holt pitched a complete game against the Columbus State University Cougars to give Tampa its fifth National Championship with a 7-2 victory in Riverwalk Stadium.

Einstein’s Bagels Employee Arrested

An Einstein Bagels worker was arrested Wednesday (April 11) in the Vaughn Center on two felony fraud charges. This was Eureka Dawannva Patterson's seventh arrest in five years, and her second since working at UT. Wednesday marked the fourth time she had been arrested for fraud.

Tennis Playoffs!

With the school year coming to an end and finals just around the corner, the UT tennis team's season is almost over. The Sunshine State Conference tournament is this weekend, and the pressure is on. "Our team is very excited to be playing in conference," freshman Jamie Lieberman said.
