A University of Tampa bookstore employee was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with felony fraud and felony grand theft. Tampa police arrested Takisha Ashon Cane, 29, in the Vaughn Center and charged her with scheming to defraud less than $20,000, grand theft in the third degree and misdemeanor possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis, according to TPD arrest records. RHA hosted a meeting in Brevard Hall last Tuesday in order to discuss with students new campus policies, including the changes to Article 9 of the Student Code of Conduct. A 22-year-old non-student was arrested Thursday on Kennedy Boulevard after' he threatened to shoot an Austin Hall resident, witnesses said. He stood screaming outside of Austin and demanded to enter both the front and rear entrances, witnesses said. He said he wanted to kill people in a specific room, but the women who live there said they had never seen the man.
