Rent A Movie on Campus

Don’t know what to do tonight, why not rent a movie? A Blockbuster kiosk will be put in the Vaughn Center on the first floor by the entrance of the courtyard according to Megan Frisque, Assistant Director of Civic Engagement. She also said that it’s being put in the Vaughn Center because it’s open later then the other buildings on campus. “There are almost a thousand movies that will be in the kiosk, we’ve been informed,” Frisque said.

Women’s Soccer Improves to 2-0

Shelby Kuni scored her first goal of the season as the University of Tampa Spartans defeated Nova Southeastern 2-1 on Sunday afternoon. Kuni struck first for Tampa, heading in a cross from Courtney Evans in the 35th minute. Kuni finished with three shots on goal.

She Will Be Sorely Missed Here: Registrar leaves UT for Harvard Law Post

After 11 years of service at The University of Tampa as Registrar, Leslie Sutton-Smith will launch her new career as acting Registrar for Harvard Law School on July 23. In June 1996 Sutton-Smith became Registrar at UT. She had been searching for jobs in Florida after her parents decided to retire in Sarasota.

Student Environmental Action Coalition Aims to Clean Campus Up

A group of students are trying to integrate more environmentally-friendly measures at UT. The Student Environmental Action Coalition, SEAC, was formed last fall by senior Kari Pandilidis, who is currently working with Dr. Galperin's MGT 335 Corporate Responsibility course to find ways to promote recycling and earth-friendly practices on campus.
