The UT Department of Speech, Theatre and Dance is presenting "Little Women" in Falk theater all weekend. UT's performance will be directed by Michael Staczar, associate professor of speech and theatre. Tara Richards Swartzbaugh will direct the music, bringing the sights and sounds together on stage.

Vagina. The essence, symbol and definition of women across the universe. Playwright Eve Ensler celebrates the vagina in The Vagina Monologues, which was recreated by a collaboration of several female UT students and faculty members. I was truly amazed with these women's performances.

Hypnotist Dale K. entertained UT students at the Reeves Theater Thursday evening on Nov. 15. This was Dale's second appearance at UT since 2005. Student Productions was so impressed with the previous show that they contacted several agencies in order to rebook Dale K.

On Thursday, October 25th, acclaimed producer and co-founder of Killer Films, Christine Vachon, will be speaking to a class of film students. The event is free and open to the public, and will take place in Reeves theater, at 4:00 P.M., in the Vaughn Center. Vachon has produced well known films such as Boy's Don't Cry and One Hour Photo, in addition to working with directors like Todd Haynes, Todd Solongd and Kimberly Pierce. Most recently, Vachon plans to screen part of Todd Haynes' tribute to Bob Dylan, I'm Not There, starring Christian Bale, Kate Blanchett, Richard Gere and Heath Ledger.

During the 2006 fall semester, plans of joining a free music software service were being discussed among the university's administrators. The two tentative programs included Ruckus and Cdigix. By signing an agreement with Henderson, Virginia-based Ruckus Network, Inc.
