This year’s flu shots fail to fight many strains

(U-WIRE) The influenza epidemic is expected to grow even worse as this year's flu vaccine fails to protect against most common strains. According to the Center for Disease Control Web site, the flu shot is a good match for only about 40 percent of this year's flu viruses, a 30 percent to 50 percent drop compared to previous years.
