The Sigma Chi Fraternity installed its most recent chapter at the University of Tampa last Saturday. The installation marked the end of a three-semester period as a colony for Sigma Chi. Grand Consul Keith Krach, the international president of Sigma Chi, presented the charter for the Kappa Omega chapter. A total of 40 men were initiated. In their time as a colony, Sigma Chi twice won Greek Week and also captured many sorority and fraternity theme weeks. Their Derby Days raised nearly $1,000 for their philanthropy, Children’s Miracle Network. Sigma Chi became the fifth IFC-governed fraternity on campus.
