Woods Makes Headlines at 2010 Masters on Overtime

The 2010 Master’s Tournament began Thursday and there is only one headline for this event, Tiger Woods.

There is almost nothing more exciting to me than watching major PGA tour events, but the controversy surrounding the tour’s top athlete makes the stakes so much more intriguing.

Personally, I have always rooted strongly against Woods since I started watching golf as long as I can remember.

The media has long blown up just how good he really is, mostly talking about how clutch he is, but when it comes down to it he really isn’t.

Just in case you didn’t know, which most people seem not to, Woods has never come back on the last day of a major to win.

That fact alone is a proving statement that in fact, when it comes down to the stretch in majors, he just does not have the gusto to come from behind for the victory.

When I watch a tournament or a major that Woods’ playing in I will always root for the field.

No matter who the player is, I will always root against Woods; maybe because I love when the underdogs win and I enjoy parody in sports.

But now it is time for all golf fans to root against Woods with me.

Plain and simple the man is an adulterer; and this was not just a one time act of indiscretion. At this very moment, there is no definitive number of how many woman Tiger cheated with.

It seemed like almost everyday at one point and time, a new woman would come forward claiming to have had extra marital relations with Woods.

Now when you first hear Tiger cheated, you think, oh hear we go again, another sports figure in some sort of sex scandal. But this is no ordinary sex scandal.

Cheating just once is an awful action, but this was going on for who knows how long with countless amounts of women.

Let me make it clear, Tiger Woods is a narcissist. He lacks a conscious and is so self-absorbed that he does not care about anyone but himself. Total baloney that he loves his wife Elin.

If you love your wife you wouldn’t be telling women to take your number out of their phones so his wife doesn’t see them if she checks your phone for text messages from them. Honestly, who does that? I’ll tell you who, Tiger Woods the narcissist.

I think what people really don’t realize is the extent of his cheating. So many women, but if you haven’t read the texts that have leaked all over the internet, then that is an absolute must do.

I cannot write out what his texts said because they are just that graphic and inappropriate. They are just that ridiculous. Go look them up, it’s totally worth it.

And for god sake’s, stop the press conference. I really can’t listen to Woods spewing his nonsense anymore. He gets in front of that camera and addresses the world because he wants to feel in control and powerful like he did with all his extra women on the side.

Again, the spotlight has to be on him at all times because of his overwhelming egotism. I don’t want to hear you apologize because I know that it’s not sincere. All I want to know is what happened the night your car crashed because for some reason you refuse to tell everyone.

Everything else is just irrelevant that you say because we get it, you cheated a bunch of times.

But what really boggles my mind the most is how people can possibly root for Tiger now. And what’s even more mind-boggling is that so called experts can actually call Woods the favorite to win. He hasn’t played competitive golf in months.

I don’t care how good you think he is, but when someone hasn’t been playing against other players for an extended period of time, you can’t declare him the favorite.

If you liked him before, he just isn’t that likeable now. Sure he still may arguably be the best golfer of all time, but he is just a terrible person off the field, not to mention on the field.

One of the first things that I can remember watching golf back in the day, were those Tiger Woods’ temper tantrums. He’s a baby out their on the links.

He curses more than anybody and who throws their clubs anymore? We should all call him Tiger Gilmore the way he plays on the course; sure he wins, but with unnecessary theatrics. Golf is supposed to be a game played by gentlemen and maybe Woods should start acting like one.

With The Masters starting on Thursday I will be glued to the television screaming every time Tiger comes on. I hope he performs miserably and misses the cut so I don’t have to hear about him while I’m trying to watch golf.

But if somehow he wins, I will truly be distraught. All that we will hear about till the end of time is how “resilient” Tiger was for overcoming this whole ordeal. Lose Tiger, please lose.
