The schedule for the 2008 Sunshine State Conference tournament was made public this week, with games starting on March 4 and the championships on March 9.
Both the semifinals and finals will be held in the Martinez Center. Last year’s tournament was held at Lynn University, a significant handicap for UT fans.
The championship matches for both the men’s and women’s tournaments will be televised on Sun Sports.
The athletic department will host a Fan Fest during the tourneys, setting up vendors, activities, food and entertainment outside of the gym.
Although regular season games are free to students, the SSC tournament will cost students $5 with their college ID.
With two games left on the schedule, the UT women’s team had locked up either the first or second seeds. The men’s team was seeded second, but could fall as low as fourth if they fail to defeat Lynn and Florida Southern.
