The WNBA’s 2006 champions, the Sacramento Monarchs, will play the Washington Mystics in a preseason game at UT in May.
During the 2007 season, the Monarchs swept the two-game series over the Mystics. Sacramento currently leads the all-time series, 15-3.
Last season, the Mystics played two pre-season games in non-WNBA cities: Milwaukee, Wis., and Columbus, Ohio.
The game will be Monday, May 5 at 7 p.m. at the Bob Martinez Sports Center. Tickets are $5 and are available by calling (813) 257-1733.
