According to a global e-mail sent Tuesday, the newly created Security Study Group has pushed back its timetable to deliver its report from the “ambitious” deadline of March 30 until May 30.
The group consists of Linda Devine, Rod Plowman, Grant Donaldson, Dan Gura, Bob Ruday, Barbara Strickler and Monnie Wertz.
President Vaughn created the Security Study Group in order to “assess the status of our safety and security policies, practices, procedures, programs, materials and checklists … and to conduct a thorough and critical review of the areas mentioned and to provide specific recommendations for improvement where appropriate.”
