According to a report left with the Campus Safety and Security Office, two UT students and a visiting guest were walking on the east side of North Boulevard near Straz Hall on March 14 when at approximately, 10:45 p.m. four African American males in a silver or gray hatchback automobile drove slowly alongside the students and guest.
After a motorist behind the suspect vehicle beeped the horn, one of the occupants appeared to display a handgun, and the suspects sped away. Anyone with information about the suspects or the incident is urged to contact the Campus Safety and Security Department at extension 3333.
